Back by popular demand, Councillor David Taylor returns to Shire Hall to discuss Dorchester’s underground tunnels.
David has researched the town’s many tunnels and cellars. Come and hear about tunnels used by prisoners, judges, wine merchants and perhaps even smugglers!
David is passionate about Dorchester and its fascinating history, and has served as the town’s Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
Please note: This talk DOES NOT include a tour of the tunnels.
