The Beaches of Dorset – West Bay
West Bay is a picturesque village located on the coast of Dorset, England. It is situated at the mouth of the River Brit and is surrounded by the stunning cliffs of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A small fishing harbour backed by shops and several pubs. Formerly known as Bridport Harbour, the area was renamed by the railway when it arrived in the 19th century. Full of character, the area provides some spectacular views of the coast. South west facing and a favourite with families with young children.
