The Teddy Rocks Festival is an annual rock music festival that takes place near Blandford Forum in Dorset. It was first established in 2011 to raise money for Teddy20, a children’s cancer charity founded by Tom Newton and his family in memory of her brother, Ted, who passed away from cancer at the age of 10.
Since then, the festival has grown significantly and has become a popular event on the Dorset festival calendar, attracting both established and emerging rock acts. The festival typically takes place over three days in May and features a diverse lineup of rock, punk, metal, and indie acts across multiple stages.
In addition to the music, the festival also offers a range of activities. There are also a variety of food and drink vendors, as well as stalls selling merchandise and other festival essentials.
The festival’s primary goal is to raise funds for charity and over the years, the festival has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds, making it not only a great music event but also a worthy charitable endeavor.
