Get ready to savour the flavours of Dorset and the West Country as the Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival makes its highly-anticipated return in 2023! Known for its delectable cheese offerings and a vibrant atmosphere, this festival is one of the best!
Located in the heart of Dorset, this festival celebrates the rich heritage and tradition of the local cheese-making industry. With over 60 food producers showcasing their finest cheeses, you’ll get to taste some of the best cheeses in the area, including the famous Dorset Blue Vinney and the creamy Coastal Cheddar.
But the Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival is not just about cheese! The festival also supports local businesses by featuring a range of locally crafted products, including unique arts and crafts and gifts. You’ll find everything from handmade pottery to artisanal jams, all made by local artisans who take pride in their craft.
In addition to the delicious food and local crafts, the festival also offers a range of family-friendly activities, including live music, kids’ games, and more. It’s the perfect way to spend a day out with family and friends, enjoying the best of what Dorset has to offer.
