Marvellous minibeasts and brilliant birds Easter trail
Details
Have your very own woodland adventure this Easter at Brownsea Island.
Follow the trail, try your hand at activities along the way and discover birds and the insects they like to eat – from the red-breasted robin who waits for the ground to thaw to gobble up the worms to blue tits who wait to lay their eggs until there’s a glut of caterpillars to feed their hungry chicks. Take part in a bug and spoon race, see if you can build a giant bird’s nest or drum as fast as a woodpecker. Make your own Easter discoveries, have fun and collect your chocolate egg at the end. Dairy free options are available.
It’s £3 per trail to take part. Normal island admission and ferry charges apply. There’s no need to pre-book the activity.
The trail runs from 1 April to 16 April 2023.
