Who’s on stage?
Our evening will be MC’d by Andrew White, guiding you through a night of awesome stand up from…
Graham Whistler is an internationally acclaimed stand up comedian, performing since 2010 in venues all over the UK, as well as Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and the US. As well as using very personal material about living with Cerebral Palsy, Graham is well known for his “candor and unique perspective” (Bournemouth Echo). Graham has taken two solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, Leicester Comedy, and Ram Comedy festivals, as well as success in competitions over the years.
McClaine Beirne has a unique voice, relaxed stage presence, and some great surprising comic twists.
Steve Day is remarkably funny, with a light-hearted and self-effacing style which helps him form an instantaneous connection with his audience. A familiar voice on BBC Radio 4, Steve has appeared many times on You and Yours, was a ‘token man’ on Woman’s Hour, and has appeared in two radio dramas, All Fingers and Thumbs with Bill Nighy, whom he punched dramatically, and Sound Barriers with Patricia Routledge and Caroline Quentin, both of whom he was prevented from punching.
Andrew White is flamboyantly repressed and optimistically cynical. Fast rising through the comedy ranks with an act that’s “not to be missed” (Daily Record), White is “very exciting and very funny” (Joe Lycett).
