An evening with John Stockley, hear about him travelling the world in the 1980’s and taking over the chimney sweeping business in Weymouth.
About this Event
This event is the third and final talk about John’s life story. He will continue from leaving the pub The Globe Inn. Working abroad in Germany, Holland, France, Belgium, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria up to 1980. And returning home that year to take over the chimney sweeping business.
Don’t worry if you’ve missed John’s earlier talks, he’ll give a quick re-cap at the start. The event can be viewed as an individual event, hearing from John about his life story which was different to many of his class mates, as his dad was an American GI, his mum a local Weymouth lady.
