Bridport Vegan Market
The attractive town of Bridport plays host to a vegan market on Saturday 8th February.
Located inside the Town Hall on South Street, there will be food and drink on offer, plus a variety of stalls selling clothes and vegan products. Advice and recipes will also be on offer for those interested in adopting a vegan lifestyle.
Lighthouse Holistic Festival
The Lighthouse in Poole is holding a Holistic Festival on 8th and 9th February from 10am to 5pm. There will be over 100 exhibitors with a busy schedule of talks and workshops and many therapies to try. There will also be live music and activities for children.
Entrance is £10 (£8 concessions), under 14s free, which includes entrance to all talks and workshops. For further information click here.
Dorchester Beerex
Raising money for local causes, Dorchester Beerex is taking place this weekend from 11am on Friday until 11.30pm on Saturday in the Corn Exchange on High East Street. Entrance is £10 which includes a pint and tankard. CAMRA members receive a second free pint. There will be over 80 local beers and ciders on offer plus food and live music on Friday and Saturday night.
Organised by the Rotary Club in association with CAMRA, Beerex has raised £188,000 for local causes over the last few years. More information can be found here and for tickets click here www.beerex.co.uk.
History tours of Corfe Castle
Pam White, a Corfe Castle historian revisits the castle’s rich history on walk and talk tours. Discover the fascinating 1000 year history of the castle ruin as a royal palace, a stronghold and a place of romance and betrayal. Learn about the people who lived there and how it came to be destroyed.

Bournemouth Model Railway Exhibition
Bournemouth Model Railway Exhibition is being held this weekend at the Hamworth Club, Magna Road, Canford Magna, Wimborne from 11am until 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors will have the opportunity to see over 20 different lay outs and a huge variety of vehicles, track, rolling stock and locomotives.
There will be refreshments on offer plus the chance to buy model railway items. More information can be found here www.bmre.org.uk.
