Today Studland is known for its miles of sandy beaches and importance as a National Nature Reserve but a former life is revealed by British and Canadian War Diaries.

In 1943 Studland became one of the most important Battle Training Areas in Britain. Join us as we explore the landscape around Fort Henry and tell the extraordinary story of what really happened here in the build up to D Day.
