A Folk Song Walk – Shaftesbury
Join local folk singer Alastair Braidwood for a walk around the countryside close to Shaftesbury, accompanied by traditional folk songs from Dorset and further afield. Explore a beautiful part of the county, and hear songs relating to nature and rural ways from years before.
Bring your own water bottle, stout walking boots, and headgear if hot. Walkers are responsible for their own surefootedness.
The walk will take about 2 hours, with frequent stops for songs. Stiles on route.
Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome, so long as they don’t ‘sing along’!
