Summer Streets, Bournemouth

Summer Streets will take place every Saturday from May half term through to 21 June. Each event will take place in a different area of town and will have a different theme:

Sat 24 May – Street Fashion – Beale Place & Bournemouth Arcade – 12-3pm

Plus: DJ set from The Hush Club, Free eco arts and crafts with Outside In and bath bomb making with LUSH.
Visit the fashion exhibition and street wear shops in The Royal Arcade.
Goodie bags for the first 100 visitors.

Sat 31 May – Street Dance – The Triangle – 12-3pm

Free family fun In association with Pavilion Dance South West.
Celebrating all styles of dance.

Free workshops. Performances. Courses and careers advice. Themed free eco arts and crafts.
Free face painting. Window competition with DANCEZIE…win a dance bag, voucher to spend at Flirt Cafe and other goodies.
Goodie bags for the first 100 visitors.

Sat 7 June – Street Art – Westover Road – 12-3pm

See over 10 artists at work. Join the art workshop. Caricaturist. Free eco arts and crafts.
Visit nearby galleries. Live music.

Sat 14 June – Street Music – Bandstand, Lower Gardens – 12-4.30pm

Party in the gardens. Bring a blanket and enjoy an afternoon of singing and dancing.
12pm All About ABBA
2.30pm The Blueprint Blues Brothers Show.
Free children’s entertainment.

Sat 21 June – Street Sport – Horseshoe Common – 12-3pm

Free family fun. In association with BH Live Active. Meet sport instructors giving advice.
Demonstrations. Interviews. Activities.
Themed eco arts and crafts.
