The award-winning Run to the Sea Bournemouth returns for its sixth year on Saturday 4th October 2025! This stunning 50km ultra takes you from Moors Valley Country Park all the way to Hengistbury Head, following the scenic Castleman Trailway, through peaceful woodlands and along the beautiful Bournemouth seafront.
With a mostly flat, fast course, it’s perfect for both ultra first-timers and seasoned runners chasing a PB. You’ll enjoy forest trails, coastal views over Brownsea Island and Sandbanks, and a spectacular finish by the sea.
The event features fully signed routes, feed stations every 10km, medals, prizes, and generous time limits-plus the option to park at the finish and catch a bus to the start. Whether you’re running for speed or the experience, this is one ultra not to miss!
