We have received funding from the Dorset National Landscape Community Access Fund to lead on a new Heritage Trail along existing paths through Purbeck.
The route has been chosen in discussion with the National Trust to provide greater understanding, engagement and enjoyment within our community and across the stone industry.
The walking trail links various routes that the stone might have been carried from the Purbeck quarries to the most significant building in Purbeck that is built in Purbeck Stone: Corfe Castle.
