Palestinian Comedy Night

A Palestinian Comedy Night is coming to Dorchester as part of the wider Festival of Palestinian Culture, taking place in Borough Gardens in August.

Join us for what will be an entertaining evening of hilarious comedy from a fantastic line up of comedians. The show will provide a mixture of comedians from both Palestinian and non-Palestinian heritage.

This ‘not be missed’ event includes the amazing talents of Farah Sharp – named ‘One to watch’ in the Funny Women Awards 2023, and Headliner Sami Abu Wardeh. Sami has performed at high profile venues across the UK, including his acclaimed show ‘Bedu’ at the Edinburgh Festival. Sami also starred in the satirical series The Sheikh for Channel 4.

Supporting acts will be the very talented Joe Haddad, Af Marseh and Mark Pencherz. Local Dorchester comedian Gavin Egan will MC for the night. The show is part of the a week- long programme, celebrating Palestinian arts, cuisine and traditions. Tickets are limited so make sure you buy early to avoid disappointment.

Venue opens at: 7:15pm
Venue closes at: 9:15pm

Travel & Parking:
There is no parking at the venue but there is free parking available after 6pm at the Top O Town, Trinity Street and Acland Road car parks. These are all just a short walk from the venue. Dorchester can also be reached via train at Dorchester South and West stations. These are a 10-15 walk from the venue.
