Fete on the Field
The members of the Ferndown and Parley Rotary Club are delighted to announce that, once again with the support of their sponsors, they will be organising the annual Fete on the Field. This event has become one of the highlights of the Ferndown community calendar.
Entry to the event is free, and it promises to be a fantastic, fun-filled day suitable for all the family, with all profits going to local charities.
There will be a wide variety of attractions and activities throughout the day—read on to discover what is in store!
The community is encouraged to mark the date in their diaries and to keep an eye out for further information here and in the local press as the big day approaches.
The Rotary Club warmly invites everyone to join them and looks forward to welcoming all who attend.
Stalls
At the heart of the event are two grand avenues of stalls, offering plenty to see and do. Visitors will find arts and crafts, sweets, cakes, fudge, and fresh market produce. These avenues provide an ideal opportunity to shop for gifts for family and friends, and the wide variety of stalls ensures there is something to delight everyone.
Entertainment
There will be a wealth of entertainment to keep the whole family amused throughout the day, including children’s rides on the funfair, falconry displays, live music, dance performances, and dog shows.
Food and Drink
A broad range of food and drink will be available to suit all tastes, from coffee and cake to beer and snacks, or a full meal. The selection of catering stands will ensure there is something to satisfy every appetite.
Car Show
Visitors can enjoy an impressive display of the finest classic, custom, commercial, and agricultural vehicles at the Fete. Around 180 vehicles will be proudly presented by their owners for all to admire.
