Festival of Palestinian Culture, Dorchester
Join us for a family day out at The Festival of Palestinian Culture, showcasing the heritage, music, literature, art, crafts and cuisine of Palestine.
We will have live music, storytelling, tatreez workshops, kids’ activities, arts & crafts, books and lots of delicious food.
Headline acts include Saied Silbak (internationally renowned composer and oud player), Bint Mbareh (sound researcher and experimental performer) and Tasniem Zyada (poet and spoken word artist).
Entry is free for all. 11am – 4pm. Borough Gardens, Dorchester.
The day festival is part of a week long celebration which includes an art exhibition, comedy night, film showing and rap gig.
