Community Cinema: Bridget Jones Mad About The Boy
We look forward to seeing you on Friday 19th September for the first Community Cinema showing of the autumn season – Bridget Jones, Mad About The Boy.
Break out the big pants and the vodka shots because the lovelorn Bridget Jones is back on our screens. Renee Zellweger returns to her signature role as Bridget who is now reconciling with personal tragedy and possible new suitors in her life.
Now a widow, bereft after the death of her on-off partner turned husband Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), Bridget has two children to bring up and is struggling to find her place in the world but realises it’s time to get back out there.
Step forward two potential new suitors: the impetuous Roxster (The White Lotus’ Leo Woodall) and straight-laced teacher Mr Wallaker (12 Years a Slave’s Chiwetel Ejiofor). Can Bridget make it work with either of them?
Doors and bar open at 6.30pm and the film starts at 7.00 pm. Tickets cost £6 per person and are available on the door. Bar, snacks & warm drinks available.
