This much-loved traditional show is back, bigger and better than ever. Featuring a spirited mix of countryside competitions, family fun, and the long-awaited return of Dorset’s famous Knob Throwing Festival.

Perfect for all ages, the show offers a vibrant line-up: enjoy impressive horse and dog displays, pony competitions, flower and produce contests, and classic rural antics like wellie wanging and “splat the rat.” The 2025 show once again hosts the legendary Dorset Knob Throwing Games, where festival-goers can test their skills in quirky knob-based challenges that have put Cattistock firmly on the map. Food and craft stalls, local traders, and a welcoming community atmosphere complete the perfect Dorset summer outing.

The Show will be well signposted from all major approaches.
