Bastien et Bastienne at Holme for Gardens
Bastien et Bastienne is our debut opera as a company and will be sung in French. It is a one act comic singspiel, composed in 1768, when Mozart was just 12 years old. It was first performed in a Vienese garden theatre.
Fittingly, our production will also be performed in a garden: in the intimate Amphitheatre at Holme for Gardens in the heart of Dorset (Wareham) on a late summer’s evening (17th August 2024).
