Bach by Candlelight – Gerard Flotats (Cello)

On Friday 21st February at 7pm we are thrilled to present ‘Bach by Candlelight’, when the outstanding young cellist Gerard Flotats performs a programme of music for unaccompanied cello in the atmospheric candlelit setting of St Peter’s Dorchester. Along with Bach’s Cello Suites in Eb major and C major, Gerard performs solo works for cello by Casals and Cassado. This concert is presented in collaboration with The Tillett Trust, who support Gerard and other outstanding musicians as they establish their international careers in classical music. The programme is presented without interval and will last approximately an hour and a quarter.
