The sun is out, the clocks have sprung forward, and the daffodils have flowered. Spring is here and the countdown to Dorset’s spring adventure, the Dorset Spring Show is gearing up. Taking place at a new home of Birch Lane Showground, near Puddletown. The second edition of the event has a host of new attractions alongside returning favourites, it’s the perfect family day out!
The Dorset Spring Show returns on 3rd and 4th of May and is a celebration of everything the countryside has to offer in the spring. Headlines include The Sheep Show, Shetland Pony Racing, Poultry, Spring Farm, Titan the Robot, Terrier Racing, Gardeners Avenue, Axemen, Floral & Food Demonstrators, Crafters and so much more!
The team behind the show has made sure there is something for everyone, including your four legged pooch! Watch and have a go at Dog Agility or hunt for treats at the Dog Barn Hunt, or let the pooch rest up while you kick back and relax with a local pint at the music stage – it is a bank holiday weekend after all!
The new attractions for 2025 include Steam Engine Trailer Rides, Poultry Tent, Heavy Horse Logging, Shetland Pony Racing, Sheep Dog Demonstrations alongside an enhanced Spring Farm, Demonstration Theatre and we welcome the mechanical giant, Titan the Robot on both days.
James Cox, Show Organiser, said: ‘The excitement is building for the second Dorset Spring Show especially at our picturesque new home. There are new attractions and areas, and being set on a working farm makes the site even more unique – it truly brings the countryside to life in the spring!’

Shuttle Bus:
Catch the FREE Shuttle Bus from Dorchester and Poundbury to Dorset Spring Show. Timetable on website.
Travel Information:
Use the postcode DT2 7LN. Please follow the yellow roadsigns from Dorchester, A35 and the A354. Car Parking is free of charge. There is traffic control as you approach the event site, please follow signs and directions provided by marshalls. Vehicles will enter onto Birch Lane towards the Shows Car Parks from Druce Lane (B3142).
