The final countdown is on for the Purbeck International Chamber Music Festival 2025, returning on the 4th to 7th September. With anticipation building and tickets selling fast, music lovers across the region and beyond are preparing for an unforgettable late-summer celebration.

Curated by distinguished cellist Natalie Clein, this years festival, themed “Love in all Forms” brings together exceptional musicians from the UK and abroad. Set within the unique landscapes and historic venues of the Isle of Purbeck, this much-loved event promises audiences an inspiring mix of world-class chamber music, dance and literature, creative collaborations and vibrant community spirit.

This year’s highlights include:

  • Love of the Cello: Natalie Clein teams up with author Kate Kennedy to share moving stories from Kennedy’s celebrated book about cellos lost and found.
  • Eros, Mania, Nostalgia – Tango Extravaganza: Enjoy Ligeti’s Cello Sonata reimagined with electrifying dance by Selene Muñoz, followed by a thrilling celebration of tango music.
  • Pub Session: Experience informal music-making as festival musicians host a lively jam at the legendary Square & Compass.
  • Family Concert: Sunday welcomes all ages with joyful performances, student collaborations and opportunities for audience participation.
