Jazz Jurassica is bringing you something truly special this autumn: a one-off collaboration between two incredible musicians, Leigh Coleman and George Cooper.
We’ve pulled off the ultimate musical match-up. Leigh Coleman, the velvet-voiced soul singer who has wowed Jazz Jurassica audiences with tributes to legends like Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers and Blue Note, will join forces with George Cooper, the dynamic pianist and mastermind behind The Jazz Defenders. Known for his flair in blending jazz, soul and cinematic grooves, George’s playing is steeped in energy and sophistication.
These two talented friends go way back, and on Friday 10 October they’ll take to the stage together at the Royal Lion Hotel in Lyme Regis. Expect a night full of dazzling piano riffs, smooth soul vocals and genre-blending magic. This is the kind of gig that will be talked about long after the final note fades.
