After the disappointment of having to cancel in June we are buzzing for our new dates in August – please join us 24-25 August 2024 at Sandpit Field.

Spotlighting Purbeck businesses and skills, there will be entertainment for the whole family with sumptuous food, drinks and fishy crafts. There will be stalls offering a huge variety of fish, cockles, mussels, scallops, oysters and of course, champagne! Plus delicious foods as an alternative to fish and lighter meals especially for children too!

There are also live cooking demos from top local chefs, showing how to create perfect dishes.

We will have a dedicated children’s area, Little Fishes, for entertainment, crafts and even fancy dress just for our younger visitors! So come and explore all the festival has to offer.

Free to attend, the festival takes place in the beautifully landscaped Prince Albert Gardens in Swanage. These public gardens feature an open-air amphitheatre and overlook one of the country’s most beautiful bays. It really is the perfect setting for this fabulous event.

Each year, the festival makes donations to Swanage Lifeboat, The Fishermen’s Mission and the National Coastwatch Institution Swanage, so help us support these fabulous charities by purchasing a raffle ticket or giving a donation to one of our official collectors.
