The Wilkswood Reggae Festival 2020

Held in the stunning Purbeck countryside in Langton Matravers on the outskirts of Swanage in Dorset, the Wilkswood Reggae Festival will take place from Friday July 24th to Sunday July 26th 2020.

The festival will see reggae legends rub shoulders with upcoming bands and DJs from the UK and abroad perform across three stages. Previous headliners on the main stage have included Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Johnny Osbourne, Mad Professor, Benjamin Zephaniah, General Levy, Jazzie B, Brinsley Forde, Macka B, Tippa Irie, Congo Natty, Mikey General, Manudigital, Janet Kay and Festus Coxsone.

As well as the main stage there is the Jah Spirit Soundsystem stage, the DJ Derek Stage featuring acoustic and spoken word acts and the late-night Shhhbeen showcasing some of the freshest ragga, jungle and drum n bass mixologists. Last year saw over 60 acts appearing over the weekend.

Add to that the Cub Hub kid’s zone, a cinema tent, a chillout zone, craft stalls and workshops, street food stalls and bars serving ice cold beer, cider and rum cocktails and you have the perfect recipe to enjoy some peace, dub and harmony in the woods by the sea!
