Details
Come along to Dorchester’s Thomas Hardy Victorian Street Fair to celebrate the birthday of one of Dorchester’s most famous residents.
UPDATE: THVF 2021 will be mostly online and will go live on SUNDAY, 6th JUNE 2021 at 11am.
Dorchester’s heritage organisations are collaborating on a presentation demonstrating what life was like in Victorian/Edwardian Dorchester.
There will be some live events, including a Victorian Food Market in Borough Gardens organised by Dorset Food & Drink, with Live Music from Tatterdemalion from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. Guided Walks of Casterbridge start from the Town Pump at 11am and 2pm.
The Craft demonstrations and Guided Walks are FREE but must be booked in advance using the two links below.
Dressing up in costume is optional – All welcome
