The Plight of the Purbeck Puffins
THE PLIGHT OF THE PURBECK PUFFINS – Friday 11th April 2.00pm in the library.
Join Richard Caldow, who previously gave us a fascinating talk on Swifts in Purbeck, returns for an illustrated talk about the declining Puffin numbers in Purbeck. Following in the footsteps of the late Trev Haysom, Richard Caldow, with help from the National Trust and the Dorset Wildlife Trust and a team of volunteers has been studying the Purbeck puffins since 2023 to try to get to the bottom of the mystery of Purbeck’s declining puffins.
