Melplash Agricultural Show 2023
The Melplash Agricultural Society Show is one of the South West’s premier agricultural exhibitions and is held at The West Bay Show grounds, Bridport, Dorset on the last Thursday before the August Bank holiday. The 2023 Show will take place on Thursday 24th August.
Offering something for everyone, the show ground is packed full of exhibits including livestock, horses, home crafts and horticulture. There are over 400 trade stands selling everything from locally produced food to tractors… and plenty in between!
Farming and agriculture really is at the heart of the show and visitors will be able to watch judging of the wonderful animals. Building on the success of the Discover Farming marquee – a must-visit for all families who are interested in learning more about food production and farming. There will be a number of activities and interactive demonstrations where children of all ages can get hands-on experience of a variety of ‘Farm to Food’ activities.
The show really is a great day to meet with friends, enjoy the countryside and learn more about West Dorset.
