Quiet Morning at The Tank Museum

The Tank Museum will be hosting a quiet morning on June 15th from 9am-11am. All sounds and interactives will be turned off in our museum to reduce sensory input.

These sessions are primarily for, but not limited to, families of children with autism; young people and adults with autism; children with social, emotional, or mental health needs and any other visitors with sensory needs or who may prefer a more relaxed experience.

All visitors are welcome to stay after 11am when sounds are switched back on in the museum, we have sensory backpacks that can be borrowed from main admissions free of charge.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have many visitors on our last quiet morning, but we would really like to give individuals an experience that might suit them better here at our museum.

Visitors do not have to book in advance, but buying online is 10% cheaper than purchasing on arrival.
