Meet the Maker: Jen Goodwin

Join us at Walford Mill, Wimborne, for an evening of creative inspiration with Jen Goodwin. Jen is a fellow of the Royal School of Needlework, having graduated from their apprenticeship scheme in 2003. Since then, she has been developing her business, creating her own works and teaching others the craft of needlework in classes at Walford Mill.

This in-person event is an opportunity to hear about Jen’s unique creative experience. Jen will speak about the defining experiences from her career over two decades, and share behind-the-scenes details about her work.

Jen’s practice focuses on creating highly detailed and technical pieces incorporating imaginative designs and naturalistic themes. Jen was proud to be part of the embroidery team that worked on the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress in 2011. In 2023, Jen was part of the Embroidery Studio team at the Royal School of Needlework working on textiles for the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

This talk will take place in the Little Pickle at The Mill Café. Your ticket (£17.50) includes a drink and canapés.
