Jamal Aliyev and Maria Tarasewicz

St Mary’s Church, Edward Road Dorchester, DT1 2HL

Two outstanding young players with a fascinating programme ranging from substantial master works to fine 19th century salon pieces.

In 2017 Jamal made his BBC Proms debut and won the Arts Club – Sir Karl Jenkins Music Award.

“The tender cello solo from Jamal Aliyev in Memoirs of a Geisha is in my ear still.”
Ivan Hewitt, The Telegraph / BBC Proms / July 2017

Jamal is promoted by the Young Concert Artists Trust and supported through The Countess of Munster Musical Trust. Jamal has just won 2nd Prize in the Windsor International String Competition.

Maria Tarasewicz has gained an international reputation as a chamber musician, duo partner and a pedagogue.
