Trench Gardens, Horticultural Shows in POW Camps, Vegetable Growing at Versailles… this talk covers all aspects of gardening during the Great War.

About Christine: Christine has a background of broadcasting having worked for the BBC as a producer and a presenter before turning to the academic world. In 2004 she gained the Bristol University Masters degree with Commendation in Garden History, with a dissertation on Harold Peto. She has visited and recorded over 160 gardens in the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Ecuador, India, Holland, Russia and Germany.

Tickets: £5.00 per ticket, all funds raised will be donated to The Prince of Wales School to support the development of their Community Wildlife Garden. Tickets can be purchased via the School Office or online via EventBrite at – http://pow-tc.eventbrite.com.
