Principal Players from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Mark Derudder (Violin), Carol Paige (Violin), Tom Beer (Viola), Miguel Rodriguez (Viola), Jesper Svedberg (Cello). A masterpiece of the classical quintet repertoire alongside two less well-known but fine works, each demonstrating the enriching influence of folk music; Vaughan Williams writing at the height of his involvement with English folksong and Dvorak intrigued by the native Indian music he encountered in the USA.
