Come and Sing-Haydn’s Creation-Choral Workshop

Come and join The Quayside Choir for an exciting and inspiring day of singing at Upton Community Centre, Poole Road, Upton, BH16 5JA.

The Workshop will be led by guest conductor Simon Earl, Director of Music, Organist & Master of the Choristers at Christchurch Priory, Dorset. This workshop day will feature choruses and sections of Haydn’s masterful oratorio ‘The Creation’ through which Simon will focus on vocal and choral technique, musicianship and interpretation.
No prior knowledge of the music is required, although the ability to read music would be an advantage.

The fee covers music hire and refreshments including cakes! You will need to bring your own lunch. The edition of the music we are using is New Novello vocal score. Please bring a bottle of water and a pencil. (Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult singer)
