Dates for Chesil Rocks 2023
Chesil Rocks 2023 will coincide with our 10th Anniversary, to make it a very special event. Again, it will be over three days:
— Thursday 15th June – Comedy Night
— Friday 16th June – Prelude of classical music and opera
— Saturday 17th June – Main Event
All proceeds will again go to the Dorset branch of Samaritans, based in Weymouth.
Chesil Rocks has been an annual music and arts festival since 2012, with all proceeds going to Samaritans of Dorset. Since the first Chesil Rocks, we have raised £90,000 for the charity and following our 2022 event – our best ever – were able to give them £20,000, equating to half of their budget. With no government funding, our Samaritans (who are all volunteers), need to spend much of their time on fundraising activities and our contribution allows them to focus more on what they do best.
