Description and Details

Tom Browns pub was named after the book Tom Browns school Days published back in 1857, previous to that it was called The Sandpiper and Finches. It also used to be home of the Goldfinch Brewery a small micro brewery which was located at the back of the pub and brewed beers like Flashman’s Clout and Midnight Blinder.

Tom Browns pub boasts the biggest beer garden in Dorchester which runs straight down to the river, a lovely place to have a drink in the sunshine, or indoors in front of our open fire during the winter. Pop inside for a warm welcome here at Tom Browns in Dorchester.
